Three Season Camping Personal Equipment list
Backpack or Duffle Bag
Sleeping bag with dry compression sack (rated for ~20 degrees)
Stuff sacks (for organization)
Insulated sleeping pad (Inflatable or closed cell foam)
Hiking boots - WATERPROOF
Camp Shoes - Closed Toe ONLY - Sneakers, Crocs, etc.
Clothes - NO COTTON
Synthetic or woolen socks (2-3)
Synthetic undergarments
Scout or hiking pants (zip off legs optional)
Shorts (1)
Wicking short sleeve shirts (2)
Wicking long sleeve shirts (2)
Fleece Jacket, sweater or other outer layer (still cool at night)
Warm hats and gloves (2)
Warm Cap for sleeping
Mess kit with cup, bowl and utensils (knife, spoon, fork or spork)
Water Bottle (At least one 1 liter Nalgene - wide mouth only!)
Raincoat
Good headlamp with extra batteries
Pocketknife (If Totin’ Chip certified)
Toiletries, Toothbrush/toothpaste, Hand sanitizer
