Please feel free to come & go as needed for sports/other commitments
Avoid car pooling. Masks required.
Scouts will be solo in tents pitched close together for evening chatting. So if you have a small tent that would help
Campout Overview - Camping for two nights starting Friday after dinner, meals planned by the patrol and cooked by a designated Grubmaster adhering to safe food and socially distant practices.
Three meals (2 breakfasts and lunch) will be be cooked using Dutch ovens.

There are two main points as requirements for consideration of participation.
- Make sure you have screened your scouts for the following:
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Chills
Repeated shaking with chills
Muscle pain
Headache
Sore throat
Loss of taste or smell
Diarrhea
Feeling feverish or having a temperature greater than or equal to 100.0°F
Known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19

Medical and Consent forms - This is very important!!
Scouts (and attending Adults) without these forms will not be allowed to participate. You can skip Medical forms if you submitted them last August/September time:
Medical Forms: Please ensure three paper copies of Part A and B only (no doctor signature needed) including a copy of your insurance card is delivered to Jen Joyce at 4 Fenton St no later than noon on Friday April 2

Sleeping arrangements are limited to one Scout per tent.
No Carpooling - Parents must drop off and pick up scouts at designated times.
Limited food sharing, patrols will appoint a single grubmaster for each meal
A designated Grubmaster adhering to safe food and socially distant practices.
There will be hot water for hot chocolate, etc
There will NOT be a 3 tub cleaning method. Scouts are urged to bring disposable plates/cups and fork/spork, no need for a knife
The Scouts/Adults should bring their own tent, if not available contact patrol advisor so that we can bring one from the troop
Everyone should bring their own folding camp chair to make it easier to social distance
The Patrol Advisor will lead the campout to ensure that guidelines are followed
The Patrol Advisor will request that one or two parents attend to assist with supervision
The Scout must have and carry a sufficient mask to wear in the unexpected case where social distancing is not possible.
Coordinated activities will only be done where social distancing and good hygiene can be followed.
For instance, lashing/knot tying demonstrations and can safely be practiced.
Flag football or any other games that may result in direct touching or several people touching a common object (like a Frisbee) are not allowed
The Scout agrees to follow social distancing and good hygiene practices. If the Scout does not adhere to those practices he understands that Parents will be called to come pick him up.
The Scout must not go if he is not feeling well or has any symptoms on the day the campout starts
There is no camping in pavilions or lean-to’s
Food

Council Regulations for Camping at Resolute
All cabins, pavilions, amphitheaters, and other common areas will remain closed.
Ensure social distancing among groups staying in different campsites, campsites must be spaced no less than 20 feet apart as measured by the closest edge of each neighboring site.
Campsite occupancy is limited to a maximum of 12 people. Campsite groups may not invite persons not staying at other campsites to visit. This includes multiple groups within the same unit.
Handwashing and sanitation of shared supplies must be done between use.
Sleeping arrangements on camping trips should be limited to one person per tent, unless they are family.
Activities between or among more than one campsite group are not permitted.
Picnic and grill areas will be closed.
Signs are posted to remind the need for social distancing, frequent hand hygiene/washing and use of facial coverings.
Disinfect latrines surfaces before and after each use by unit or Scout.
Plastic or Metal picnic tables and other high-touch areas within campsites must be sanitized between each use by the user of the campsite.
At least one person per campsite must log in and out at the camp office to enable contact tracing, (name and phone number or name and email address).
No showers are available.
