If your scout needs a bike, one can be rented on the island $60 for 3 days OR $48 if we get at least 6 scouts who need a bike rental!! Includes bike, helmet, bike lock, and assistance on the island if they run into bike trouble.  :)  If you want to see the type of bike they'd be renting, you can take a look.    Reservations should be made through me - if you want to rent, please EMAIL me ASAP and let me know HOW TALL your son is!

Trying to decide if you should rent a bike or take the bike you’ve had for years?

If your bike isn’t quite road worthy, is too small (or to big), doesn’t have good working gears or brakes, hasn’t been tuned up in several years and you’re not sure about it’s overall functionality and reliability, please opt to rent a bike!! You can rent a bike through Young’s bike shop and we’ll pick it up right after we get off the ferry! The last bike trip we took as a troop, we found that there were several bikes on the trip that probably shouldn’t have been and it made riding for the scouts difficult. We want to make this as enjoyable a trip as possible, so please make sure your scout has a bike in good working condition!
